Changing Mozilla's Theme:

April 20, 2002. New Theme for Mozilla 1.0 RC 1

Mozilla comes with two different Themes (also referred to by some people as "skins"): Modern and Classic. If you would like Mozilla to have another look (more compact, or more utilitarian), you might want to try the new Lo-Fi Mozilla theme from Gashu.org . It is a space-saving and elegant theme, with icons reused from early Mozilla Themes, thus lending it a uniquely mozillaesque look, while providing a nostalgic look back to those who remember Mozilla from its conception.

Note:
Many Themes do not currently work correctly in Mozilla 1.0 RC 3. If a Theme does not work correctly for you, check back after Mozilla 1.0's release: hopefully, many of the Themes should work correctly then (after their authors have updated them).
